In past summers we've had Cakes and Silly in swim lessons all summer long. This year that just wasn't going to work out, so they only got one session. Cakes really loves it, and after watching her in gymnastics, which she likes, but doesn't love, I think we might put her in swim lesson all year. We'll see. Silly can swim on his own, but doesn't really know it.

I thought it was going to be torture keeping Bubba out of the water, but he was great. Never once had a fit about not getting in. Most days we went from swim lessons to our friend's pool anyway. He's so patient.

I think she could stay there all day. And I like it that it really isn't possible to be a slacker in swimming; either you swim to the other end or you don't.
