Those of you who have actually met Bubba in person know that he can look quite serious. He has been master of the stare-down since he was born. The goal at his first birthday party was just to get an actual facial expression out of him, didn't even have to be a smile. Here's some proof that he is capable of more than one look.

And it's a darn good thing he's so cute because he had a rough night last night and today he has refused to take a nap and therefore is a super mega grump.
Hard to imagine him being a grump looking at these pictures... no wonder he hides that smile - it is a heart-melter. Is there anything he doesn't get when he DOES smile?
ReplyDeleteI don't tell him no very much. He's just entered the phase where he gets his feelings hurt. Cakes teased him a couple weeks ago and he cried like she'd just broken his heart.
ReplyDeleteI think my baby girl is the "master Grump" now. She can be pouty all day. When she does smile, which is more frequent now...it is so SWEET!
